Sigge Weisdorf’s Research

Sigge Weisdorf comes from a clinical background, and the questions he seeks to answer through his research stem from patient experiences.

One of the biggest challenges is obtaining reliable information about epileptic seizures. Sigge Weisdorf is convinced that the right technology can help solve this problem.

The goal of the research team’s work is to develop and test new methods for detecting and characterizing epileptic seizures using objective measurements. This will contribute to improving treatment and, thereby, the quality of life for many patients with epilepsy. The research arises from a combined interest in technology and epilepsy.

Sigge Weisdorf works on testing new technology that can be used both in hospitals and at patients’ homes. He is also involved in documenting and improving the effectiveness of existing technology and treatment pathways.
