STU
Peace to find your path
Specially Organized Youth Education (STU) is a three-year program for young people aged 16-25 with special needs. We will have a residential option available from August 2024.
STU
A safe environment
We pave the way for a meaningful and quality life.
STU is for young people aged 16-25 with epilepsy, brain injury, autism, ADHD, or other neurological challenges. It’s for those who cannot complete a regular youth education. We help you prepare for the future with jobs or other activities.
We have many years of experience with young people with special needs. Filadelfia’s special school has helped many young people move forward in life, and we use that experience at STU.
Our school year typically comprises 840 hours, organized with a combination of academic subjects, practical subjects in Filadelfia’s 10 workshops, and internships with companies.
Young people are at the center of our small and diverse environment. We have extensive experience with young people with special needs from Filadelfia’s special school. We use that experience at STU to identify academic, social, and personal skills—and support you in developing them.

We have peace and space for deep focus
We create time for in-depth learning and quality time during internships with skilled teachers and educators. It’s educational, exciting, and fun to engage in practical subjects. Here is a brief description of the internship opportunities—you can also have internships with companies.

Prepared for the future
We prioritize structure and routines
We work with four themes throughout the education program:
- The Included Citizen – We focus on social interaction with others and the use of social media.
- Life Mastery – We train daily routines such as cooking, shopping, and laundry.
- Health – We focus on diet, nutrition, and exercise.
- Citizenship – We work on your role as a digital citizen, your personal finances, politics, and citizen rights.
A school year consists of 840 hours and is organized with a combination of academic subjects and practical subjects/internships in the workshops.
Each student is assigned their own contact person, whom they meet with every morning and afternoon to ensure the day goes as planned.
